Which batteries do you install, and in what sizes?
We install Sigenergy and Fox ESS systems. Our published packages pair panels with 5, 6, 10, 12 kWh of storage, from £7,500 to £11,000. All prices are subject to survey. The survey sizes the battery to how your household actually uses power in the evening and overnight.
Is a battery added to existing panels zero-rated for VAT too?
Yes. The zero rate covers batteries installed in a home, including one added to panels you already have, until 31 March 2027.

Does a home battery have to be registered with the network?
Yes. A battery that can feed power back counts as generation, so it is notified to UK Power Networks in the same way as solar panels. Your installer handles it.
How big a battery do I need to get through the night?
It depends on what you use between the evening peak and the morning, less what your panels still cover. Our guide works through depth of discharge and round-trip efficiency with real figures, and the survey does the sum for your home.
